Searching online yoga and ayurveda book, The Sanskrit text "Charaka Samhita," which translates to "Compilation of Charaka," discusses the traditional Ayurvedic drugs with their roots in India. One of the earliest Hindu books on Ayurveda to reach us in its original form is this one. It comprises eight books and 120 chapters in all, and it was written before the second century C.E. The Charaka Samhita, the earliest extant manuscript of Ayurveda, was written by the well-known author Charaka. It is believed that his instructor Punarvasu Atreya had seven followers, namely Agnivesa, Charaka, Bhela, Jatukarna, Parasara, Harita, and Ksharapaani. The charaka samhita (book and Online) is the rewritten version of Agnivesa's Samhita.
