Hi I am having Vinyl (on a roll?) flooring fitted in a bedroom and have been advised to lay a 4mm or 6mm ply subfloor prior to fitting over floorboards. Taking the skirting boards off is not an option for commercial flooring Raleigh, do I need to leave an expansion gap around the Perimeter for expansion or is this not necessary. If so how big is recommended? Thanks in advance
