I've pulled up the existing vinyl planks before I get a quote for new ones to be installed. Old glue is still pretty tacky, I can scrape the top of it off but there's still some residue left on the old flooring compound epoxy flooring tampa. I don't know what kind of adhesive it is but it was supposed to be an epoxy because it gets a lot of sun. I'm sure the floor will need a sand and new compound anyway, will I save anything on the quote by scraping as much old glue off as I can?
